Under its original name of the Redwood Shores Homeowners’ Association, this association was incorporated on May 14th, 1970 by the County of San Mateo and the State of California. For further information, please read the original Articles of Incorporation.

On February 27, 2003, an amendment was filed to the Articles of Incorporation to change the name of the association from “Redwood Shores Homeowners’ Association” to “Redwood Shores Community Association” to better reflect the growing, multifaceted community that Redwood Shores had become.
