After resolving a registered sex offender moving out of Shores Landing in August, RSCA discovered another resident on the sex offender registry in September who subsequently moved several weeks later. Given Shores Landing’s proximity to a childcare center, the recent findings have raised valid questions to the legality of the situations amongst the Shores community – and we put together this guide to help navigate the complexities.

As you prepare for Halloween by setting up your spooky decorations for this beloved fall holiday, snap some photos to share with community members! City Council Redistricting Community Workshop — September 1st
Join us for a Redistricting Community Workshop on September 1st
On Wednesday, September 1, Redwood City’s Advisory Redistricting Committee (ARC) will hold the next Redistricting Community Workshop at 6 pm via Zoom. While the workshop will be hosted in current City Council District 1 (Redwood Shores), all members of our community are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please see and share the flyer far and wide – at your book club, service club, place of worship, favorite park (dog parks included!) and with neighbors, friends, family, etc.

A Large Development is Being Planned for Redwood Shores — Here’s a Recap and Invitation to Provide Feedback on the Impacts of Development in Redwood Shores
RedwoodLIFE/Longfellow hosted two community Zoom meetings in mid-June to present plans to redevelop the existing office and technology park along Marine Parkway for life sciences. Community members participated in a Q&A regarding the vision and brought up environmental, traffic, housing and construction traffic, noise, dust and debris concerns following the presentation.
