2010 Summer Blues Festival

The fifth annual Redwood City PAL Arts and Blues Festival presented by the San Mateo Credit Union will rock Courthouse Square in Downtown Redwood City on July 23rd & 24th. This free event will feature some of the best blues musicians and artists of the Bay Area and also includes 40 unique artist booths with Art on the Square. The main stage in the square will be filled with live music on Friday evening and all day long on Saturday. The festival is a fun event which features great music, a family area with an arcade for children, good food, and showcases Redwood City’s Courthouse Square, and Redwood City’s downtown merchants and restaurants. There’s no better way to enjoy a beautiful summer day than to revel in Redwood City’s glorious weather while savoring great Blues Music, Art, food and drink!

Proceeds from this fun and exciting family festival will directly benefit the important programs of the Redwood City Police Activities League (PAL). The PAL offers prevention and intervention programs to the youth of the community including programs such as the citywide sports programs and after school programs.
